Created with acrylic on panel, this painting features many layers of paint, some of which have been scraped back to reveal the history of its creation.

The inspiration behind Swamp is the lush, green beauty of life and water, rather than the dangerous connotations often associated with swamps. The main colors are various shades of green, accented with splashes of orange and highlighted with touches of gold. These gold highlights add a shimmering quality, enhancing the sense of depth and richness.
